Federico Mauro is Creative Director and co-founder of Vertigo, a creative agency for film, television and streaming entertainment based in Rome.
He has been working as a multimedia designer since 2001. From 2010 to 2015 he was Art Director at Fandango and then at Darewin / MediaMonks in Paris. In 2015 he co-founded Vertigo with Marco De Micheli.
Since 2009 he has been working on key art, trailer creative direction, motion design and campaign strategy for film, television and streaming platforms, with 600+ posters for the major Italian and international distributors.
He teaches and has taught Communication and Art Direction at IED Rome, Sole 24 Ore Business School, LUISS Business School, La Sapienza University of Rome, LUMSA, Università Cattolica di Milano and ANICA Academy.
Over the years he has worked with Netflix, HBO, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, Paramount+, Warner Bros., Universal, Sky, Fremantle, Rai Cinema, 01 Distribution, Vision Distribution, Lucky Red, Piper Film, Wildside, Leone Film Group, Fandango, Dior, Campari and Mondadori, among others.
